About the Center
The Johns Hopkins Center for School Health (previously known as the Consortium for School-Based Health Solutions) was launched as a university-wide collaboration to focus on the delivery of school-based health care. Working at the critical intersection of education and health, the Center will work to build and disseminate responsible, evidence-based models of school-based healthcare and wellness programs.
Through partnering with key representatives from Baltimore City, our team is involved in a citywide school-based vision care program and the first fully-integrated school-based health model. Along with benefiting the local community, our work serves as a model for other national efforts to improve access to healthcare and academic outcomes in school children, particularly in underserved communities.
